Report Abuse & Takedown Last updated: 21 Apr 2026
Pageloot OÜ operates QR codes, shortlinks, and redirect services on pageloot.com, app.pageloot.com, pglt.me, and qrcd.ee. We take misuse seriously. This page explains how to report content that violates our Terms of Service, applicable law, or third-party rights, and what to expect once you report it.
- Use the report form on this page, or email [email protected].
- DMCA / copyright notices: [email protected] (see Section 5).
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): [email protected] — reviewed immediately and reported to law enforcement and NCMEC.
1. What We Accept Reports About
You can report any URL, shortlink, QR code, redirect, or hosted file that you believe violates our Terms or applicable law. Common categories include:
- Phishing, fraud, and scams — URLs designed to harvest credentials, payment info, or impersonate a legitimate brand.
- Malware and malicious software — URLs distributing viruses, trojans, ransomware, cryptojackers, or drive-by exploits.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance. Reported immediately to law enforcement and NCMEC.
- Copyright or trademark infringement — see Section 5 for DMCA specifics.
- Harassment, doxxing, or incitement to violence.
- Impersonation — QR codes or redirects falsely claiming to represent a person, company, or public institution.
- Other Terms of Service violations — including spam, abuse of rate limits, or circumvention of our safety mechanisms.
2. What to Include in Your Report
The more specific the report, the faster we can act. Please include:
- The exact URL, shortlink, or QR code identifier (e.g.,
pageloot.com/q/abc123,pglt.me/xyz987, orqrcd.ee/abc123). - The category of abuse from Section 1.
- A brief description of the issue and, where possible, evidence (screenshots, email headers, WHOIS data, links to independent analysis such as VirusTotal or Google Safe Browsing).
- Your name, email, and (if applicable) the organization you represent.
- For rights-holder complaints: a statement that your report is made in good faith and that the information is accurate.
3. How to Submit a Report
Choose whichever is most convenient:
- Form — use the report form below.
- Email — [email protected]. Please put the category and the URL in the subject line where possible (e.g., “Phishing report: pageloot.com/q/abc123”).
- Postal mail — Pageloot OÜ, Kadaka tee 7, 12915 Tallinn, Estonia (attention: Abuse Desk).
4. Response Times
We target the following response windows. These are targets, not guarantees, and will generally be faster for clear-cut cases.
- CSAM — action within 1 hour of receipt, 24/7.
- Active phishing or malware campaigns — action within 24 hours.
- DMCA / copyright notices — acknowledgement within 48 hours, action within applicable statutory timelines.
- Other reports — acknowledgement within 3 business days.
When we take action, we may disable the offending URL, remove hosted files, suspend the responsible account, or permanently terminate service. We may also preserve logs and cooperate with law enforcement where required or appropriate.
5. DMCA / Copyright Notices
Pageloot complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. To submit a valid takedown notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), email [email protected] with:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on our Services (e.g., the specific shortlink or file URL).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Knowingly false DMCA notices may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Counter-notices may be submitted to the same address and will be handled under the statutory process.
6. Child Safety
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Reports in this category are reviewed immediately, content is removed, the responsible account is permanently terminated, and the incident is reported to law enforcement and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). Do not include imagery in your report; a URL and brief description is sufficient.
7. Repeat Infringer Policy
Accounts responsible for repeated violations will be terminated. We maintain internal records of abuse reports and takedowns for enforcement and legal compliance. In cases of clear, intentional, or high-volume abuse (e.g., coordinated phishing campaigns), we may terminate an account immediately on the first incident without prior warning.
8. Good-Faith Reports and False Reports
We rely on accurate reports. Submitting a report you know to be false, misleading, or in bad faith may result in the report being disregarded and, in serious cases, legal action. For DMCA reports specifically, knowingly false claims can expose you to damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
9. Safety Mechanisms We Operate
For transparency, we run (and continuously invest in) the following safeguards on our redirect services:
- Destination URL checks against the Google Safe Browsing API at creation.
- Periodic re-scans of active destination URLs to catch links that become malicious after creation.
- Rate limits and abuse-pattern detection on link creation.
- Blocklists for known spam TLDs and phishing URL patterns.
- Manual review triggered by unusual traffic patterns.
No automated system is perfect, which is why this reporting channel exists. Thank you for helping keep the platform clean.
