Print with confidence
- Fix mistakes
Wrong link, new landing page or a typo in the URL? Change the destination in your account. The printed code stays the same.
- Update content
Menus, offers, PDF files and web pages can change after your QR code is already on the table, the box or the poster.
- Save costs
A new campaign no longer means a new print run. You pay for the code once and point it to new content as often as you need.
Your QR code stays the same
Only the destination changes, so you can edit a QR code after printing without touching the print file.

HOW IT WORKS
How to edit a QR code after printing
- Create a dynamic QR code in Pageloot. In the free QR code generator, tick Edit later and continue to your account (14-day free trial).
- Download the code and print it.
- Later, log in and open the code in your dashboard.
- Change the destination to the new URL, file or page, and save.
- Scan the printed code with your phone to check that it opens the new destination.
You can change the destination as often as you need while your plan is active.
NOT WORKING?
Edit not working? Check these first
- The code is static. A static code holds the link inside the pattern, so it cannot be edited. Make a dynamic code and replace the printed one.
- The old page still shows. Phones and browsers can keep the previous page for a short time. Reload the page or scan again in a private tab.
- The new link is wrong. Copy the full URL, including https://, and test it in a browser before you save.
- Your plan has ended. When a paid plan expires, the dynamic codes become inactive. Renew the plan to turn them on again.

STATIC OR DYNAMIC
Static or dynamic: which one do you need?
A static QR code is free and never needs an account, but you cannot change it. It is enough for a link that will not move, such as a permanent website address.
Choose a dynamic code when the content will change or when you want scan stats. Typical cases:
- A restaurant menu with new prices each season.
- A poster or flyer for an event whose landing page changes.
- Product packaging that links to a manual or a promotion.
- A business card that should open your current page.

Frequently asked questions about editing QR codes after printing
Yes, if it is a dynamic QR code. The printed pattern stays the same and you change the destination it points to in your Pageloot account. A static QR code cannot be edited, because the link is stored in the pattern itself.
Create a dynamic code, print it, then open the code in your dashboard, enter the new destination and save. Anyone who scans the printed code reaches the new destination.
Yes. Editing after printing is a dynamic feature. In the free generator, tick Edit later to continue to your account and start the 14-day free trial.
No. The link is part of the pattern, so you need a new code. If you will want changes in the future, make the new one dynamic so you only print it once more.
As often as you need while your plan is active. The code you printed does not change.
Yes. You can point the same code to a website, a PDF file or another page, depending on what you want people to see after they scan.
Changes apply as soon as you save. A phone can keep the previous page for a short time, so reload the page if you still see the old one.
On a paid plan, the codes become inactive when the plan expires, so keep the plan active for as long as the printed codes are in use. Our lifetime deal is a one-time payment instead. See the pricing page for details.
