How a QR code for a PDF file works
You upload your PDF in the generator. The file is stored online and gets its own web address.

A simple rule: if you would have to reprint when the PDF changes, use dynamic. Menus, price lists, brochures and manuals change, so they are the usual cases.

A large PDF takes a long time on mobile data, and some people leave before it opens. Compress the file before you upload it. On some Android phones it downloads first or opens in a PDF app. Scan with the built-in camera app instead of a third-party scanner, and test on both systems.
Print the code at least 2 x 2 cm (0.8 in), and larger for posters. Use a dark code on a light background, keep a white border around it and do not stretch it. Scan it with two different phones before you print a large batch.
