The link leads to an old page
A changed profile URL, a deleted post or a closed job ad breaks the link. Make a new code, or use a dynamic code and change the destination.

A very long link makes a dense code. Remove the tail after a question mark in the address, and make the code a little larger. -
The code will not scan
Print it at least 2 x 2 cm (0.8 in). Use a dark code on a light background, keep a white border, and be careful with a large logo, which hides part of the code.
Which LinkedIn link to use for the code
Use linkedin.com/in/yourname. If you change your custom profile URL later, the old link may stop working, so a printed code can end up pointing nowhere. Set your profile URL before you print.
Use linkedin.com/company/name. The code opens the page, where visitors can follow it. You need the page’s public address, not the admin view.
Use the post menu to copy the link to the post. Posts can be deleted or hidden, so check the link still opens before you print.
Copy the address of the job page. When the job closes, the code leads to an ended ad. A dynamic code lets you change the destination to the next job.
Copy the event or newsletter link and make the code for it. Add a frame such as “Sign up” so people know what happens when they scan.
Open the link in a private browser window. LinkedIn may ask visitors who are not logged in to sign in, or show a shorter version of your page. This depends on your privacy settings, so test it before you print.
